Preparing for Your Driving Test

Straight Ahead School of Motoring are pre-test specialists covering Finglas and Raheny test routes in Dublin and also Navan test routes in Meath.

You can do your pre-test in our car or your own car if preferred.

At Straight Ahead School of Motoring our pre-tests take the following format:

Information on the format of the test, covering road signs/rules and technical checks.

Testing area covered.

Correct procedure for the turn in the road, reverse around the corner and hillstart.

Advice on any aspects of your driving that are below test standard.

We also provide mock tests which simulate what the actual driving test will be like. Our car is available for use for the driving test, subject to availability, to pupils who have reached the required standard.
