If you're learning to drive for the first time then Straight Ahead School of Motoring will get you on the road with ease. Our friendly, patient but professional manner will make learning to drive an enjoyable experience.

Before you begin you need to pass the Driver Theory Test. For more information about the test visit www.dtts.ie. Once you have passed the Driver Theory Test and have applied for and received your learner permit you are ready to start learning to drive.

 

NOTE: If the date of issue of your first learner permit is on or after 4 April 2011, you must complete a course of Essential Driver Training (EDT) driving lessons before you will be allowed to sit your full driving test. EDT is not required if your first learner permit was issued before 4 April 2011.
